BIOGRAPHY
Robin Harris Rickard is a master massage therapist who offers her services in the New York City and Western New Jersey areas. As a result of a lifetime of interest in complementary health practices and her extensive involvement with Eastern modalities, Robin created the concept of Enshrine from her own unique style of bodywork that is an intricate fusion of Occidental deep tissue massage and Eastern energetic restructuring.
After becoming a New York State licensed massage therapist in 1990, Robin spent a good part of a decade living in East Asia between Tokyo and Shanghai studying and practicing traditional shiatsu, Oriental medicine, karate, tai chi, yoga and reiki at their origins.
She also trained as a doula (certified birth assistant) and has given workshops to expectant parents and seminars for healthcare professionals and labor/delivery nurses concerning the benefits of massage during pregnancy, labor and delivery.
Presently, between her New Jersey and New York City offices she continues to develop her skills and knowledge. The breadth of Robin's intuition and understanding make her unique brand of bodywork something well worth experiencing. Massage colleagues and a host of other health related professionals seek out her expertise.
